MODBUS是一种国际标准的通讯协议，用于不同厂商之间的设备交换数据；

MODBUS协议可分为MODBUS RTU、MODBUS ASCII、MODBUS TCP三种模式；

MODBUS RTU、MODBUS ASCII对应的物理硬件接口为串行通讯口（如RS485、RS232、RS422）;

MODBUS TCP对应的物理硬件接口是以太网接口（ETHERNET）；
